Pests Most Active in the Kansas City Area
Soon it will be winter and your pest problems are over for a few months. Bugs and other insects are all dead or hibernating, right? Wrong! Let’s talk about furry little creatures, like mice and rats. Mice are either cute – think Mickey – or ugly, depending upon your outlook. Rats are ugly – no getting around it! But both become destructive and may even spread disease. They may be cute and funny in cartoons, but we certainly don’t need them in our homes. We often think that mice enter our homes to escape the cold of winter. Not so! Remember those little fur coats that they wear? More often than not, they enter your homes because of dwindling food supply out of doors. And rats? Rats love the city sewer system and often find their way into your home through uncovered floor drains. Both rats and mice are prolific breeders and their offspring can overrun a place in an unbelievably short period of time. Therefore, it is up to you to see to it that you don’t welcome them as visitors. Schedule Free Inspection
